Welcome to the 82nd edition of Thursday Thirteen. We will plan on having the weekly Thursday Thirteen post up around 7:00 p.m. Central each Wednesday (for the early birds). We will stop comments each week around lunchtime on Saturday.
Please comment if you are participating this week, and leave a link to your Thursday Thirteen. Be sure to specify what your edition number is.
What do you think of having a quote posted each day as either something to write about or something interesting to read? I love good quotes, and I’m always looking for topics to write about in my own blog. So I thought that might be something some of you would enjoy.
We’re curious about how many Thursday Thirteeners you visit and leave comments for each week. Do you mind keeping track of that this week? I know we’re all busy, and if you don’t have time to keep track, that’s fine. However, if you can, please let us know. On Saturday I’ll put up a post where you can leave a comment telling us how many visits/comments you paid to other T13′ers this week. Since the purpose of the Thursday Thirteen meme is to have fun and make blogging friends via visits, comments and links, we wanted to see how well we’re fulfilling that purpose.

Often when purchasing our usual grocery list of items we pick up a product that has “New and Improved” on it’s label. Sometimes this can be a good thing such as when your dish detergent suddenly has a new super grease busting power. Sometimes this can be a bad thing like the year Coca-Cola came out with their New Coke formula.

Well…my blog is still locked. Now instead of 2 business days, Blogger is saying that it should be unlocked within 24 hours. We shall see. For some reason, though I meet none of their qualifications for SPAM, Blogger’s algorithm has decided that I am. They admit that their Spam-detecting bots are flawed…I see that.
Anyway…my Thirteen, should I ever get to put it up, would likely be a rant of annoyances. Maybe I will do something a little more positive if I ever get to post it.
I will at least enjoy visiting others. :-)
