Wow! Can you believe we’ve made it to the 90th Edition of the Thursday Thirteen meme? Thanks to everyone who has been a part of this great meme throughout the past 90 weeks - both longtime and new members! Thanks to Leanne for coming up with such a fun idea for sharing links and getting to know our fellow bloggers.
Someone commented on my blog last week asking about the purpose of Thursday Thirteen - and the purpose of blogging itself. The commenter asked what we got out of reading a list of thirteen things each week. The commenter didn’t “get it.” As T13 members, we all know that we learn a great deal about each other via our T13 posts. Every week is different, and when we stretch our imaginations to come up with something new, we learn even more. It’s a great way to form a smaller community within the greater blogging community. How else would the 350+ members of Thursday Thirteen have come to know each other so well?
In addition to visiting and commenting on your usual blogs this week, let’s all make the effort to visit at least FIVE blogs we’ve never visited before. Branch out and get to know some new folks! If you read a new blog that is particularly interesting to you, come back to the T13 hub and leave a comment to let others know of it.
